Motorist kills woman, two kids in Anambra

A Truck driver on Friday allegedly lost control of his vehicle, killing a woman and her two children.

The incident took place in Nnewi, Anambra State.

A witness, who identified himself as Theo, said the truck driver was travelling at high speed when he suddenly lost control and rammed into the motorcycle.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the incident, saying the woman and two of her kids lost their lives in the accident.

Efforts are being intensified to apprehend the fleeing truck driver in order to bring him to justice

Eyewitnesses said the driver suddenly lost control and crushed four tricycles before ramming into other vehicles.

The PPRO, who confirmed the story, said the injured victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
