National assembly policemen shot by Shiite members demanding El Zakzaki release
Several individuals from the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, otherwise called Shiites, on Tuesday, raged the National Assembly and shot a police officer and a civil defense officer.
The feared Shiite protesters overwhelmed the police officers at the entryway, gathered one of their weapons and shot the two security agents.
The national assembly gate has been shut down!
They entered the principal entrance prominently known as MOPOL gate and vandalized the gatehouse.
They set three vehicles on fire and wrecked numerous others.
The Shiite members released fear on other security agents when tear gas canisters were released to scatter them.
The doors to all the National Assembly premises have been shut as staff and other certify people kept running for dear lives.
Guests to the government parliament were banned from entering the premises as of this press release.
